    DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT
    Project No. 20160325/ Work Order No. 5 NW 7th Avenue from NW 26th Street to NW 31st Street

    Project Description:

    The drainage improvement project is located in the vicinity of NW 77th Avenue from NW 261
    Street to NW 31•1 Street in Miami-Dade County Commission District 12. This project was initiated due to documented flooding complaints within the boundaries described above. The scope of work consists of, but is not limited to, the construction of a storm drainage system consisting of exfiltration trenches and solid pipe along with drainage inlets and storm manholes; as well as miscellaneous roadway restoration .
    Construction Schedule:
    Construction is scheduled to begin in March, 2018 and is anticipated to be completed in June 2018.*

    Methodology and Efforts:
    All efforts are being made to minimize the impact from construction activities to local residents, schools, businesses and motoring public in the area . The area will be restored to its original condition upon the completio n of the construction activit ies. The restoration activities will address any areas impacted by the project, such as grassy areas, sidewalks and other itemsaffected by the construction.

    The timing on this project will greatly impact the logistics for all flower operations in that direct area for Mothers Day 2018.

    Perhaps reaching out to your Congressman, & AFIF (Association of Floral Importers of Florida) would be worthwhile.

    Perhaps the scheduled work can be deferred
