Due to our amazing growth we are eagerly seeking District Managers for the following areas:
Mount Laurel, NJ
The District Manager will oversee our Vendor Managed floral program. This position is responsible for increasing sales while also maintaining shrink. This position is also periodically responsible for assisting with duties normally completed by other departments when deemed necessary by the Regional Manager, Operations Manager or General Manager.
The ideal candidate will live in the local area, possess 5 plus years Sales & Marketing experience with a strong knowledge of business development. Floral and/or mass-market experience is a plus. Exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to represent the company in a positive professional manner are expected. Candidate must be highly motivated, loyal, dedicated, self-starting, and able to work well with others as well as independently.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Recruiting vendors – maintain vendor contracts
Increasing sales and reducing shrink
Provide excellent customer service
Building and managing vendor relationships
Managing inventories for optimal sales potential
Maintaining relationships with customers
Ensure merchandising standards are met
Ensure Quality control standards are in place and maintained
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Hands on experience with managing shrink, inventory, and product shipments.
Proficient computer skills: Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
Ability to organize work, time, and self.
Attention to detail, accuracy, and the meeting of deadlines.
Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with other Managers, Staff and agencies.
Ability to gather and analyze data.
Previous Floral Experience a plus.
