Imagine a world without flowers. Better yet, don’t! Flowers bring people joy and feelings of warm emotion; it’s why we do what we do. Whether it’s researching, growing, distributing or selling, we all work to maintain a world with beautiful flowers.

And luckily, we have organizations that work toward establishing a bright future for the floral industry. One, in particular, is American Floral Endowment (AFE.) For over 50 years, AFE has funded floriculture research, grants, scholarships and internships that work to benefit growers, wholesalers, retailers, importers, manufacturers and the general public.

My family has been a huge supporter of AFE for decades. We’ve had a chance to support all of the great work they do for the industry and we’ve even established a scholarship honoring my parents.

Contributions to AFE are always tax-deductible and go towards AFE’s crucial support of the floral industry. Donate here!

Just in this past year, AFE awarded $42,800 in scholarships that will help students become experts in the industry. They also funded over $600,000 towards research that focuses on key issues in the industry.
