Dear Valued Customer:
As many of our customers have events, weddings and parties scheduled in the upcoming weeks and the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) develops and shows no signs of slowing down, the flower industry will feel a direct impact as well as disruptions in the supply chain. As a result of this many of the events in your area may be delayed or cancelled. Please be up front with your customers in reference to cancellations and postponements.
When placing a future order please be aware that in the event of a cancellation, the product may have been already sourced by our procurement team or is en route to one of our facilities. We will be accepting cancellations if they are received 10 days before ship date. Respectfully, if an event is cancelled closer to the event date, we believe that is a discussion that must take place between you and your salesperson. The team will be available to assist in any way possible in resolving the issue during these trying times. At Pennock we feel a great deal of responsibility to our customers as well as for our employee-owners.
We hope this virus will be less serious than anticipated. Regardless, this virus will have at least a short-term economic impact on our industry.
