    Our Valued Customer and Friend,

It is with a heavy heart that this letter is being written to  you in order to  help explain a few of the reasons why we are closing Lynchburg Wholesale Floral Corporation. First and fore most we would like to thank you for each and every year we have done business together. For some; our relationship has been only a few years; while others, the relationship has spanned decades.

We are both small business owners and face many of the same challenges. Two of  our  largest challenges have been business succession and staying up to date with the ever evolving technology. In our business it is more than a few pictures on Facebook and lnstagram. We had no one within our organization that wanted to buy the business and continue a 70 year tradition. We are quite sure that many of you are in the same boat . You would love to sell your business but cannot find a buyer.

These two questions (business succession coupled with technology updates) could not successfully be answered in a manner which would keep the business open and running into the future. Lastly, we would like to thank you for doing business with us over the years and may good fortune await you and your business in the future.

We will continue to service you with the same great fresh flowers until December 20th which should carry you through your Christmas Sales. All Christmas Greens Orders will be filled as promised.  We will continue to sell our hard goods inventory until it is depleted. We will be open on Monday and Tuesday from 9-12 for closing out supply sales; beginning December 30, 2019. We will continue to receive payments and help you in any way we can.

    • Respect fully,

    Karen G. Berry
