On June 3rd the Association of Floral Importers of Florida aka: AFIF hosted an event for invited guest. Since I was not invited to cover the event, I can only do what that this site used to do very well. Rely on Gossip.
While their offer was generous it did not attract the many wholesalers that they had hoped for. I hear 40 people (or companies) were all that showed up.
With that said I hear it was a grand time and those that attended and their host were pleased with the results.
The time of year was not a wise choice in my opinion but we will see what they try next…see you at wffsa.
