Just when you thought that Jet Fresh could not get more creative. Boom and bloom! they did it again.
Most floral exhibitions are held by Associations or professional Convention companies rarely by an individual company. But that is exactly what Mike Black and his group of floral fanatics did.
Customers and vendors of JetFresh Flowers were invited to attend this two day event with everything you might expect from a floral event and some you would not expect. A golf tournament, Cigars and flowers gave the attendees a taste of Miami on Thursday and then on Friday the main event took place at the Rubell Museum in Miami.
To say this was a creative event would be a true understatement. Ryan Black and Mimi Martinez and their crew went over the top to provide floral excitement in every corner of this fabulous museum. To help out Mike hired Petal Productions to deck the place out with flowers and art.
So the event was held at this modern museum where art meets flowers and flowers meet art. While walking around the museum it was hard to tell if the flowers were a permanent part of the exhibition or just installed for this event. Around every corner there was more to be seen.
As guest arrived they were greeted with mimosas to start the day and it went up hill from there. In true convention style there was an educational panel of young exciting experts who gave the audience a taste of what lies ahead for florists and wholesalers. AI (Artificial Intelligence ) was a featured theme. This presentation was followed by three guest speakers spreading their message among those eager to learn,
There was a fun lunch which featured cousin “IT” from the Adams family TV show fame with his new friend “gerbera”, riding rumbas.
After lunch there was a fun event where anyone could volunteer to participate in a design contest with a twist. A spin on a wheel determined what your theme was to be and another spin on a different wheel determined your handicap was to be. Blindfolds, oven gloves, 2 contestants wearing a single jumpsuit and other strange things made designing fun, if not challenging.
Custom T-shirts, (still waiting for mine), a caricature artist making guests look beautiful and on and on.
There were Jet Fresh things everywhere as you will see if you watch the short video I have created on my YouTube Channel. It was my pleasure to cover this event and it shows that there is always more.
And finally to those of you that told me that my reporting is important to you. I am truly a lucky man. Thank you.
