Happy Mother’s Day

2020 will go down in history the strangest but, I suspect that things turned out better than expected. A few weeks ago we were not sure there would be a Mother’s Day 2020 but the demand for flowers persist and is pulling product through the tattered system.

While everyone’s sales are likely to be down at horrifying levels the outlook is guardedly optimistic.

The industry has taken to the internet to host design shows and interviews from Jet Fresh Flowers and Flower Circus from Holland, SAF and many others. Customers/consumers at all levels were sitting targets for aggressive and creative marketers. Everyone had some time to watch and read more than ever, giving an audience to anyone connected to social media.

We are far from back to the new normal but I think we are on the way.
