Quito Ecuador 2026 FlorEcuador show.
I traveled to Quito to see what the growers and breeders of the world’s best flowers had to show.
I was not disappointed as there were grand exhibits loaded with the biggest, showiest, frilliest, roses and flowers one can imagine. Make no mistake, this a rose show where most of the exhibitors are showing roses. There are exceptions like Valleflor which has the most spectacular delphinium that I have ever seen.
Each year I see more and more farms offering preserved flowers which have come a long way over the last ten years. As well many rose farms have started growing other crops like ranunculus, anemones and poppies. Ranunculus have really come a long way, and I think they will be seen in more arrangements in the coming years.
