Florida State Florists Association meeting at Flora and More in Ocoee Fla. 1-26.
I was scrolling through my phone on Sunday when I saw a reel from the FSFA about an event going on in Ocoee Fla which is not far from my home. Jackie Lacey AFID invited local florists to come and learn all about orchids.
So, I got in my car and headed on over to see what was happening on a Sunday.
There I found a bunch of floral friends and tons of orchids. Flora and More is a wholesaler in central Florida and they hosted the event.
I love the energy that you see at these small yet very important meetings which is encouraging to me. Folks drove from all parts of Florida to attend and learn more about how to care for and design with orchids.
Florists Associations are so vital and important for large and small florists alike, they are the thread that connects everyone and helps keep innovation and education flowing.
It is a testament to the industry that so many talented folks are willing to be part of an association and help others.
Orlando is hosting many events this year, and that will help with my travel budget. AFID, FSFA Convention and the Gateway to the America Cup competition.
Hope to see you. Thanks
