Jet Fresh Flower Growers Expands with the Acquisition of 35 Hectares of Premium Farmland

Miami, FL — January 30 — Jet Fresh Flower Growers, a boutique grower of high-quality rose varieties, has announced the acquisition of 35 hectares of prime farmland in Ecuador as part of its 10-year expansion plan. This strategic move will support the continued growth and global demand for Jet Fresh Flowers, reinforcing the company’s commitment to supplying clients with a diverse range of premium roses, including for the use of the popular color-enhanced Hippy Psychedelic Roses and VIP Choco Wax Roses. Over the next decade, Jet Fresh Flower Growers plans to grow gradually with small, annual expansions. After more than 7 years of operations, the company is excited to continue expanding its supply of Fresh Roses.

This acquisition marks a significant step in Jet Fresh Flowers’ mission to enhance its rose-growing capabilities while ensuring a reliable supply for its growing global distribution network. The new land, located close to the company’s current operations, will help meet the increasing global demand for Jet Fresh Growers Roses.

“We’re thrilled to expand our growing operations with this new land acquisition,” said Mike Black, President of Jet Fresh Flowers. “With the rising global demand for our roses, it’s crucial to ensure we have a consistent and reliable supply of high-quality flowers for our customers. This acquisition allows us to meet that demand while maintaining our commitment to quality, sustainability, and the boutique feel we’re known for.”

The new 35-hectare farm will focus on cultivating key varieties required by clients, including the Hippy Psychedelic and VIP Choco Wax roses. Its proximity to Jet Fresh Flower Growers’ existing operations—just across the Río Alaquéz—ensures the company can continue utilizing the same fertile soil and water sources that have contributed to the exceptional quality of its roses over the years. The farm is also conveniently located for the company’s team, ensuring smooth integration into operations. The new farm will be fully integrated under the same name and management as the existing Jet Fresh Flower Growers.

“This land is truly a gem,” said Juanita Coloma, COO of Latin America & Jet Fresh Flower Growers. “It was previously a dairy farm and has never been treated with chemicals or fertilizers. It boasts some of the most fertile soil in the region. We’re excited to start cultivating roses in such pristine conditions, which will allow us to further elevate the quality of our roses while supporting sustainable farming practices.”

In addition to its agricultural benefits, the new farm has cultural and historical significance. It features a stunning 130-year-old hacienda, surrounded by lava rocks, that honors Ecuadorian heritage. Part of the land will continue to operate as a dairy farm, reflecting Jet Fresh Flower Growers’ commitment to preserving local agricultural traditions and culture. “This allows our family to continue a legacy that began with my grandfather, who was a rose grower in West Grove, Pennsylvania,” said Mike Black.
