It appears that they have purchased Flores San Juan a large Colombian Carnation and rose grower and major supplier of Colour Republic.
“Perhaps” Elite has some level of ownership in Colour Republic.
The buying power and willingness of Juan Carlos Hannaford to take on more brands is always a surprise.
There was also a rumor circulating that Elite had also purchased Galleria Farms but I have confirmed that
not to be true, However, there have been discussions.
I have reached out to Elite to validate the news, and I will report more as I learn it.
I can confirm that Sunshine Bouquet has purchased Flores Oriente, a chrysanthemum grower from Medellin.
