The Trifecta of floral

Mothers Day is not normally a challenging holiday as there is often ample production to manage the demand. However, this year appears a bit different. There was just enough demand for Easter and Secretaries Day to suck up excess early production. It appears the Ecuadorean crop arrived early.

The weather patterns in Colombia, Ecuador and Africa are not good for production and as a result the coolers in Miami are clean except perhaps for red roses. The spot market is hot and getting hotter.

As always, bouquet makers are sucking up production. It should be a good holiday for those that pre-booked their basic needs.

I also hear there are plenty of Peonies blooming in North Carolina.

Good luck to all.
