ARLENE LOUISE SORENSEN
Arlene Louise Sorensen, 87, Lincoln passed away peacefully on May 1, 2019. Born March 26, 1932 in Lincoln, NE to Dewitt and Irene (Lewis) Barber. Co-founder of Lincoln Wholesale Florists from 1954 until retiring in 2007 after 53 years in business.
Arlene attended UNL and was a member of Kappa Delta sorority. She attended Grace Lutheran Church. She belonged to Lincoln Rotary Club #14, National Association of Women Business Owners, Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development, City of Lincoln Charter Revision Commission, member of the National Promoflor Council (Industry Promotion Board), and member of Star Venture and Community Congress in Lincoln
